Welcome
Nightwind is our 1997 Hunter 310 Cruising sailboat purchased in August 2005 on the day of the Governors Cup race that year. Right after signing the title, we joined the crew of a C&C 40 and headed to Annapolis for the start of the race. It started out light and drifty, and then all hell broke loose. That was the most intense lightning storm any of us had ever been in. 260 masts out on the Bay.
We survived and then returned to Nightwind to prep for launch.
Cruising
We enjoy cruising the Chesapeake Bay around Annapolis and the rivers, especially West River down at Galesville. We're members of the West River Sailing Club and join many of their cruises.
